Nicky Karaitiana

I am Nicky Karaitiana. I am a 13 year old female and participate in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with Gracie Gym New Zealand.

It is a sport I am very passionate about and have been doing it for 2 years now. I am currently an orange belt.

I have 4 national titles under my belt in Gi and No Gi competitions and 4 regional golds as well as silvers and bronzes. Last year I also won female fighter of the competition at a Mulimpia tournament I competed at.

I am in the accelerate class at  High School and will find out next term if I have been named Junior Head Girl. The pursuit of excellence is something I strive for in all areas of my life.
